To make the idea more exciting I played around with the idea of the hunting methods of The Kazakhs of Mongolia. So I sort of adapted sketches from The Skillful Huntsman to fill up space until I have researched this further. It also looks very much like a school project for art students. "the skillful huntsman" is a great book that cover the making of this concept art style. I'm guessing this was first painted as a black silhouette first and by alternating between 100% hard brush and eraser to carve out the shapes. Doing silhouettes is kinda of a new thing for me and i think i have been doing it slightly wrong i going to go read over The skillful huntsman and see if i can get anything out of it!
